·General Rules
- The work covered by the abstract should be the latest
and not have been published at any meeting prior to the
18th Great
Wall International Conference of Cardiology.
- The text and the table of abstract must be limited
to 1950 characters (or about 300-350 wards), but not include
the title or the authors. 500 characters must be also
deducted for each created table or graphic. The abstract
should be written in English and type. The style is Time
New Roman. The font size should be 11pt.( point type).Title
of the abstract should be typed in Capital letters and
12pt.
- The organized body of abstract should include Objective,
Methods, Results and Conclusions. At the end of the abstract,
provide a maximum of 6 key words suitable for indexing.
Standard abbreviations should be used for all measurements.
Poorly written abstracts will not be considered for publication.

- A letter of receipt will be sent to the submitted author via email within two weeks once receive the submitted abstract(s).

·Reviewing Procedure
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by international renowned experts group before they are accepted.
- Authors will be notified about the final decision by
the end of August, 2007.
- All accepted abstracts will be published in the CLINICAL
CARDIOLOGY (Editor-in-chief: C. Richard Conti) in USA.
Be
aware that your accepted abstract(s) will be published
and your copyright transferred to GW-ICC on publication.
- The selection of 'oral' or 'poster' presentation will
not be guarantee an oral or poster presentation on site.
However, the
Organizing Committee will make every effort
to accommodate the request.
- If an abstract has been accepted for presentation,
the Organizing Committee will elect to schedule it in
the presentation sessionas a 10-minute oral presentation
or as a poster presentation. Notification of presentation,
including time, date, and location will be sent to the
authors, whose abstracts have been selected as oral or
poster presentation.
- The Organizing Committee will not offer translator
for the oral presentation and provide you with a board
of 1.5m (width) ×1m (length) horizontal for poster presentation.
- The first author listed in the abstract shall be considered
as the First Author (Presenting author) and will be expected
to
present the paper if it is accepted.
·Audio-Visual Requirements
For oral presentations of free abstracts, only slides
and overhead projectors can be provided. PowerPoint presentation
is highly recommended.
