Obtaining his A.B. degree in 1976 from Princeton University, M.D. degree in 1980 from Harvard Medical School, Herman A Taylor is currently a professor of medicine , attending physician in Division of Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine, visiting professor of biology in the Division of Natural Sciences at Tougaloo College , clinical professor of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at Jackson State University. He has won many honors and awards for his great contribution such as “America’s Leading Doctors” by Black Enterprise Magazine in May 2008, Public Health Hero Award by University of Alabama Birmingham School of Public Health and 2008 Recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award,et al. He has authored more than 100 articals and abstracts. |

Dr. Robert Charles Detrano is a professor of medicine in Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, associate Director at Saint John's Cardiovascular Research Center. He is a member of both American Heart Association and of American College of Cardiology.

Obtaining his M.D. degree from Hubei Medical University at Xianning, P. R. China, Liqing Yu is currently an assistant professor at both Department of Pathology/Lipid Sciences and Department of Internal Medicine/Cardiology (Joint Appointment) of School of Medicine in Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He is the director of Transgenic Mouse Core Facility, Wake Forest University School of Medicine and a member of American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology American Heart Association. His research interests include Traffic and Metabolism of Cholesterol and Other Sterols and Biology of ATP-binding Cassette (ABC) Transporters. |
