THEODORE A. BASS
  Dr. THEODORE A. BASS currently holds the position of Professor of Medicine, University of Florida, Cardiovascular Division Chief and Medical Director of the UF-Shands Cardiovascular Center in Jacksonville, Florida. He has authored over 250 manuscripts, book chapters, abstracts and editorials in the field of Interventional Cardiology and held many leadership positions in the Society of Cardiovascular Interventions and Angiography. Dr Bass also serves on the editorial boards of most of the major Interventional cardiovascular journals in the United States. His research interests have involved multiple areas on interventional cardiology including new devices development, clinical trials involving new adjunctive pharmacological therapies and cell transplantation.


 
James P. Zidar
  Dr. Zidar is an associate professor of medicine with tenure at Duke University Medical Center (DUMC), where he practices as an interventional cardiologist who performs coronary, carotid, and peripheral interventions. He currently serves at the Medical Director of Cardiovascular Services at Duke Raleigh Hospital. Dr. Zidar has authored or co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed manuscripts and written 16 book chapters on various topics of coronary and peripheral intervention. He has reviewed manuscripts for or served on the Editorial Boards of Circulation, Journal Interventional Cardiology, Journal of Invasive Cardiology. Dr. Zidar has participated in more than 100 clinical trials in various aspects of the interventional field, and served on educational committees for the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI), American College of Cardiology (ACC), and American Heart Association.
Barry D. Rutherford
  Dr. Barry D. Rutherford is the Director of Interventional Cardiology Research Program, Mid America Heart Institute, Kansas City, MO. He is the fellow of the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians, member of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Mayo Chapter of Sigma XI, American Heart Association/Kansas City Heart Association/Missouri Heart Association. He is also the reviewer of The American Journal of Cardiology, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Catheterization and Cardiovascular Diagnosis. He had authored several papers on Circulation, JACC.
