Dr Lim had his fellowship in Angiography and interventional Radiology/Cardiology at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh USA. His medical milestones include being the pioneer in Asia for carotid artery stenting, and the use of percutaneous stenting techniques for the treatment of the abdominal aorta. He was appointed the Principal Investigator of the USA-FDA-approved Carotid Stent Supported Angioplasty Trial, Singapore Centre in 1995. He is also a pioneer in the use of Cardiac CT in Asia and has one of the largest coronary CT experience in the world.

Graduated from Cambridge University, Dr. John Elsby Sanderson was a fellow member of many organizations, such as RCP, HKCP, HKAM, and ACC. Currently he is a professor of Clinical Cardiology, University of Birmingham, UK, and visiting professor of Medicine, Fudan University, Hua Shan Hospital, Shanghai, PRC. He is the editor of Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Heart, European Journal of Heart Failure, Cardiovascular Drugs & Therapy, Evidence Based Cardiovascular Medicine, Journal of the Hong Kong College of Cardiology, J Geriatric Cardiology (Beijing). He has published over 200 papers and letters in international refereed journals, 29 textbook chapters, 16 editorials, 12 book reviews and 231 abstracts. He is also an editor of 3 textbooks. |
