She is now an associate professor at Department of Medicine of Mayo Graduate Medical School and a consultant in Cardiovascular Diseases of Mayo Clinic. She once was elected as Outstanding Attending Physician in Military Post-Graduate Medical School and won the Award of Research in Cardiology at Mayo Clinic School of Medicine. |

He was the recipient of the Young Investigator Award, NASPE (now Heart Rhythm Society) in 1991. He is currently serving as the Chairperson of the Research Committee of the American Heart Association, Greater Midwest Affiliate, and a member of the Scientific Committee of the Heart Rhythm Society and the Board of the American Society of Geriatric Cardiology. His research is focused on autonomic regulation, syncope, atrial fibrillation and sudden cardiac death. |

Dr. Alexander Cohen is a Honorary Consultant Vascular Physician, Vascular Medicine, Department of Vascular Surgery, King’s College Hospital, London. Vascular physician and epidemiologist involved in designing, managing, and analyzing clinical trials from phase I to IV. He is in international steering committees for multicentre trials. His main interest is the screening and the prevention of vascular disease. He specializes in the primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease, prevention of stroke and coronary artery disease, and prophylaxis and treatment of venous thromboembolism (VTE). He has participated in cardiovascular clinical trials for anticoagulants, thrombolytic agents, anti platelet, antihypertensive, and lipid-lowering drugs. He is a member of the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis, the European Society of Cardiology, the British Society for Haemostasis and Thrombosis, the Cochrane Review Group for Systematic Reviews, the Internal Medicine Society of Australia and New Zealand. |
