Cao Qiling obtained his M.D. degree from Shanghai Medical University in 1982. Currently he is a visiting professor of Shanghai Jiaotong University ,guest professor of Fudan University,honorary professor of Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital .He is also an associate professor, research scientist and the director of Pediatria Echocardiographic Research Lab of Rush Center for Congenital and Structural Heart Disease of Rush University Medical Center. He is a member of merican Society of Echocardiography and often invited to deliver lectures at hosipitals and universities.

After graduated from Emory University Medical School, Dr. Martin then trained in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Stanford University Medical School where he became one of the pioneers in the new field of two-dimensional echocardiography. In 1989, Dr. Martin returned to Emory University and Emory Clinic to become Professor of Medicine (Division of Cardiology) and Director of Noninvasive Cardiology at Emory University School of Medicine.
